This optical node is a modified version of MO1004R optical node and has been desgined for a special customer request. The optical node does not contain diplex filters, the two communication directions have independent connections on the housing. The device is available in different configurations. This depends on the ordered configuration module. CM5 configuration module enables (2 transmitters and 2 receivers modules) the segmented operation mode in forward and return path too. Using CM6 configuration module – 2 transmitter and 1 receiver – you can realize the return path segmentation. CM7 configuration module uses 1 transmitter and 1 receiver module – enables the without segmented operation. CM8 configuration module enables the redundant operation in forward and return path with 2 transmitters and 2 receivers. Several type of WDM filters are available as an option.
In basic configuration the device contains 1 optical receiver module but for the operation it is necessary to order a configuration module and the required transmitter and receiver modules.
