The OHP passive optical hub replaces the optical node when rebuilding a classical HFC system to FTTB. This device allows upstream wavelength multiplexing in case of single fiber bidirectional networks. It acts as a splitter for 1550 nm downstream signals, while the remaining wavelengths as signals arriving from different reverse path segments will be multiplexed.
• For FTTB networks with up to 16 nodes/segment
• Element of CWDM networks
• Fully passive solution
